Hey y’all, my name is Alexus and I am a chef and creative of transcending creations. Food is and always has been a passion of mine since as long as I can remember. Growing up watching food network, and cooking with the women in my family gave me a clear path straight towards culinary school. After graduation from Johnson & Wales university and working countless jobs my idea began to shift from wanting to work up to executive chef to maybe being my own. Working in restaurants is a rush, don’t get me wrong, but it lost the touch of personality and thoughtfulness through the hustle and bustle of flipping tables. I only get that feeling I crave back when I’m serving the people from my community, and creating spaces that merge technique with personality. With that birthed Transcending Creations!
